The Affidavit of Succession of Living Trust, when supported either by the death certificate of the Grantor (Trustor) or
medical certification showing the physical or mental incapacity of the Grantor (Trustor) to manage the Living Trust,
provides the successor trustee with authority to administer the Living Trust.
The Affidavit of Succession of Living Trust must be filed with the county recorders office, if the trust was previously recorded there.
Staple the Affidavit of Succession to the front of Revocable Living Trust.
